PLOT

About 200 years ago, the barrier (Statute of Wizarding Secrecy) between the Magical World and the Humans was broken on purpose. After the defeat of Voldemort as well as President Snow, the world was free to do as it pleased and live together in harmony. However, where there are differences there is conflict. Mankind was infuriated by the fact that the all-powerful magical beings sat idoly by as they were constantly attacked by many forces such as the Hunger Games. The humans in charge were of course reluctant to allow any wizards to get into high-ranking positions, especially in Government, even though they could possibly have something to offer to help. Eventually tensions rose over the span of 100 years to start the Great War. Not WW1, but the first war between Magic and Muggle. Eventually, the muggles miraculously dominated over the magic side, and the magics were forced to comply to the new rule added to the Constitution. This Constitution stated that twice each year, citizens of Panem would go to the Arena once again, just to see who came out on top as the Victor. Muggle or Magic. Happy Magic Games, and may the odds be ever in your favour.
